I'm stoked to see this movie. Tim Burton typecasts his girlfriend Helena Bonham as the Red Queen. she plays this role well. do remember she was a witch in Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince. Anna Hathaway is the White Queen and Mia Masikowska is the ever so curious Alice. I remember Mia from the HBO show "In Treatment."

Movie Trailer: 2010

When I first looked at this trailer, I thought to myself -It's looking a bit like the movie "The Day After Tomorrow." Come to find out, the same director of "The Day After Tomorrow" directed this movie too. He also directed "Independence Day", which is one of my favorite movies. That information alone got me excited to see this movie. According to the trailer and some prophecies, the world is set to December 21, 2010. Normally movie studios would release to movie the same day as it's title. Not this movie though. It has a November 2009 release date. I wonder if they truly believe the world is going to end Dec. 2010. lol

Why? I haven't be interested in Saw since Saw 2. Since they took the creators and original writers off the project. You be the judge.
