To be or Not to be: Air Yeezy

They are scheduled to be dropped tomorrow. Racked Mag is saying otherwise. It's Spring 09' release date has been pushed back to Fall 09'. I wonder why. I got a tweet from @LouisVuitton_US .. saying "Kanye West for LV sneakers in stores tomorrow"; followed by a link to their website.

Hmmmm, who to trust? No telling who's behind LV's twitter feed. This actually is the 1st mention of Kanye's sneakers I've heard about for Louis Vuitton PERIOD. I guess we won't find out until tomorrow.

RIP: VIBE Magazine

This cover looks nothing like...

This cover

The VIBE cover is supposed mimic Janet's Rolling Stone cover. However, this "Slorelebrity" couple's Vibe cover comes across to me as tasteless. They make me sick. I love them separated, hate them together.

Does Vibe folding surprise me? No really, I don't remember the last time I flipped through it's pages. Think about it, these sorts of publications are no longer relevant. Why pay 4.99 for something you can see for free on the internet? VIBE isn't the 1st nor will it be the last.

I doubt this video is real. You know how much money cell phone companies make because of water damage to phones?

Dailies

Here are pictures from the Apollo Theater the night Micheal Jackson passed. I wasn't there but I heard the aura was phenomenal. Instead of everyone sitting at home depressed and crying they went to 125th and celebrated his life with his songs and dance moves.

Designer Spotlight: Ken and Dana Designs

Ken Leung and Dana Chin - This duo designs an array of accessories from your neck to your wrists. Their designs with houses two labels (b-side and BYLU) have been worn by Beyonce and Keri Hilson.

B-side is what i'd like to call the "L.E.S." part of the collection. It reminds me of Hip-Hip and is more affordable with a funky mixture of graffiti prints and geometric shapes. It's recommended to add a splash to that simple black dress.

BYLU comes across to me as "Upper East Side Chic". BYLU is B-side's classical music's sister. It's a bit pricier with it's handcrafted diamond ring lily pads and gold tear drop earrings. Pieces from BYLU's collections are the perfect addition to that show stopping dress.

These accessories are definitely unique. Prices range from $200- $1,000. With Rings and cuff links available for men as well.

Come out Thursday 6/25/09 6p- 9p for a sample sale of BYLU and b-side accessories

Slorelebrity

I'm adding this new section to my blog called "Slorelebrity ."

Slorelebrity (slor-le-bre-ty) (n) an A-Z list celebrity who does everything possible to get publicity/attention. Slore derived from the compound word - "slut/whore" and -ebritity from the word "celebrity." Hence the word "Slorelebrity." Outlets to display their slorelebrity behavior include but aren't limited to personal blogs, twitter, leaked sex tapes, reality tv shows and semi shaved heads.

Exhibit A
: Perez Hilton
Occupation: blogger
Recent slore-itry behavior: Claims to have been attacked my Will.I.Am from the music group Black Eye Peas
Form of PR: TWITTER

My 2 cents

What I'm not understanding is - Why are you contacting your twitter followers to call the police? Get off Twitter and call the police for your damn self.

So, you were assaulted; did you deserve it? This is a tricky question because I, just like Perez have a big mouth. However, I'm FULLY prepared to back up everything I say. Perez needs to man up and take responsibility as a "blogger." If you talk shit in the playground you better be prepared for a fist fight. My assessment of the world for the 20 something years i've been living is people only age physically not mentally. A majority of things will always resort back to high school. My suggestion to you is enroll into some kickboxing classes and be ready for whoever is dislikes your opinions... I'm just saying.

Chris Brown "Smash"

Before hearing this song- I became perplexed by the song's title. Why on earth would you name the song "Smash?" With the trail, allegations, photos that have surfaced why would you name a song after anything physical? Actually name a song after any "verb" period? Is this a publicity stunt?

After the song - I became even more perplexed. What's up with your producers/writers dude? Are they no longer available in large quantities as they were before? The track is GARBAGE. Yea, I said it. You mean to tell me you don't have a little base in your voice after all you've been through in these recent months? I mean, you attempted to push Rhianna's head through a closed window for Christ's sake; and you still sound like a 13 year old? Don't use Micheal Jackson as a role model please. Let the Peter Pan syndrome go.

He's next title of his song should be "Sorry, Women" .. because we all know you did it.
