Get READY TO WINE..

So today is the day of the West Indian Day Parade. I'm super excited. If you are in New York, I recommend you come out and enjoy yourself. You'll get a chance to witness West Indian people of all shades and colors, taste different yet delicious food and enjoy some great music. My culture embraces all outsiders so even if you are of West Indian heritage come and have fun. Over 3.5 million people attend ever year.
Labor Day Necessities
- Water
- Walking shoes
- Sunblock and Umbrella
- A chair (if you are planning on sitting and just watching)
- Camera (for all the memories)
- A secure backpack to close all these things
- Cash (the outdoor vendors sell food, cd's and memorabilia and they only accept cash)
Some people don't bring anything in fear of losing it. Depending on how long you are planning on enjoying the festivities, carrying these can become tiring; so choose wisely if you want to take on the burden of a bag.
If you decide to come, here are some people you'll be accompanied by
Masqueraders

They march in front of whatever band you want to jump up in.

Moko Jumbies or Moco Jumbies

Moko is supposed represent an African god and Jumbie is a West Indian term for ghost. To read more about these animated stilt dancers click here.
Jab Jabs

Now I don't know if "Jab Jabs" are only in Grenada because when I was searching for photos and info the only Grenada came up on search engines. No doubt they will be at the parade though. No matter what color they are painted in STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! They throw powder and water and if you don't like getting messy stand clear. My mother told me once the throwing of water and powder symbolizes riddance of evil spirits. It's ironic to me some dress like devils. Well I guess some things aren't meant to be understood.

TPAIN AUTO TUNE IPHONE APP?
Didn't Jay-Z kill Auto tune? More proof that singing via auto tune requires minimal talent. Just about everyone sounded good on the video. I'll cop that app!!! Lock out for my album!!! lol I kid

Drake ft Trey Songz : Successful (Video)
hmmm... it's a step up from the last video. It's sad how Trey raps better than most rappers. Shame
